The Treehouse
The Treehouse is Kingsbridge’s newest restaurant. Located in Mill Street, this beautifully designed restaurant offers mouthwatering cuisine, friendly staff and affordable prices. Open Monday to Saturday, The Treehouse is already building a reputation as one of the best restaurants in the South Hams.

The Sloop Inn
This 14th century inn is steeped in tradition and is a short walk from the surfing beach of Bantham, which is just a 10 minute drive from Kingsbridge. With an excellent reputation for cuisine, bookings are essential throughout the year. Children and dogs are very welcome in all areas of the inn.

The Millbrook Inn
The Millbrook Inn is located in the ridiculously picturesque village of South Pool. Nestled at the head of South Pool Creek, the pub is only 10 minutes by road from Kingsbridge and 20 minutes from Dartmouth.

Famous for its tasty crab sandwiches, this delightful pub also serves up a wide range of other delicious dishes such as braised pheasant and chicken liver with honey roasted parsnips and sweet potato wedges, slow roasted pork belly on black pudding and winter vegetables with crab apple and pear puree and pan fried Brill on a braised orange and chilli fennel bulb.

Locally sourced produce is a feature of the impressive menu. A barbeque menu is also available during the warmer summer months.

Café Asia
Café Asia offers exotic delights from regions around Canton, Peking, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan. The stylish and contemporary restaurant is both fully licensed and air-conditioned. A takeaway with home delivery service is also available. Open 7 days a week.

The Globe Inn
The Globe Inn (pictured) is situated in the pretty village of Frogmore, which lies between Dartmouth and Kingsbridge, in glorious unspoilt South Hams countryside. The pub has undergone a tasteful renovation during winter 2006/2007 and now boasts a new look restaurant and an exciting new a la carte menu.

The Fishermans Rest
This delightful pub, which is located in Aveton Gifford, serves a wide range of homemade fresh food. Sunday lunches are a specialty. Party and group bookings are very welcome.

Creek's End Inn
The Creek's End serves morning coffee, delicious lunches and evening meals. Open daily, the establishment also offers a takeaway menu and an ice cream parlour. Their famous carvery is served on Sunday lunchtime and Sunday evenings. You will find the Creek’s End at the side of the estuary on Squares Quay, adjacent to 375 car park spaces.

Maha-Bharat
The Maha-Bharat is an award-winning restaurant offering delicious traditional dishes in a recently refurbished setting. The impressive menu features a large selection of authentic Indian, Bengali, Punjabi and Kashmiri cuisine. Fully licensed and air-conditioned, the Maha-Bharat offers a 10 per cent discount on collected takeaway orders. A delivery service within five miles of Kingsbridge is also available. Open 5pm until midnight every day, including Bank holidays.

Seven Stars
The Seven Stars is a great place to eat and drink with fantastic food and friendly, attentive staff. The menu is varied and uses local produce when possible. Open daily. The Seven Stars is a hotspot for live music and entertainment.

Dodbrooke Inn
Situated at the top of Church Street just below Dodbrooke Church, the Dodbrooke Inn offers great food and drink in a very relaxed setting. Because of its location, this quaint inn is often forgotten but the excellent menu means its well worth the walk. Bookings taken.

Ponte Rialto
The Ponte Rialto, named after the famous bridge in Venice, offers an extensive menu freshly cooked to order. Pasta, pizza, steak, veal, chicken, pork and seafood dishes are all available. Open daily for lunches (12 noon-2.30pm) and evening meals (6.30pm-late). The spacious restaurant is located in Church Street, which is just a short walk from the town centre.

Giovanni's Ristorante
Giovanni's Ristorante offers a fine selection of Italian food. Choose from a wide selection of pasta dishes, veal, steaks and fish. Open Monday to Saturday (from 6.30pm), Giovanni's Ristorante is located at the bottom of Church Street. It is child friendly.
