Number eight Matt Hamilton has been named the Kingsbridge RFC players' player of the season.

The 24-year-old took the title at the club's annual dinner and presentation evening on Friday evening.

Jack Cope was crowned 1st XV most improved player of the season, while Rob Pearsall scooped the A XV most improved player gong.

Blair Woodland won the Colts XV players' player of the season award for the second consecutive year, while Tom Veale was named Colts XV most improved player.

Mike Powell picked up the 1st XV supporters' player of the season award, with Ed Lennon winning the Colts XV supporters' player of the season prize.

First XV captain Jason Putt took home the top try scorer of the season trophy, while Ben Glover was voted best tackler of the season.

Tristan Couch, meanwhile, won the prize for the most senior appearances of the season.

In other awards, the under 12s scooped the team of the season accolade and the grounds team were awarded the club personality prize.
