Kingsbridge RFC's chairman of rugby Chris Bowles has announced he will stand down from his post at the end of the season.
Bowles, a former player at the High House club, took on the role three years ago after the club's main committee was split into different departments.
The 35-year-old has cited work and family commitments for his decision.
"Work and home commitments have made it hard for me to do the job as well as I would have liked this season so now is the right time to hand over," said Bowles.
"I have not been able to make all the matches, or even the committee meetings, which as chairman you need to do.”
Bowles will remain on the coaching staff and is adamant he will still help with the running of the club.
"What I won't be doing is walking away from the club though as I will stay involved in anyone wants me," he said.
"You can't have enough people around on match days to do those little jobs like carrying the water bottles.
"Also, I would like to do some coaching, if time allows."
Bowles took up his post in the summer of 2005 and has guided the South Hams club to three consecutive seasons in the Western Counties (West) League.
