A South Hams football club is to benefit from money from Devon County Council.

Kingsbridge and Kellaton FC is to receive £1,500 towards the purchase of a new lawn mower for its pitch.

The club stages matches on Saturday afternoons and draws players from all over the Kingsbridge area.

The money comes from local Councillor Julian Brazil.

Cllr Brazil said: "I'm happy to help the club where I can. Now we have to work toward a permanent pitch with good quality facilities."
