Pale and interesting, pretty in pink or just peachy perfect? Wedding day must haves for your make-up box.
The quickest way to adjust your wedding day make-up to evening-do is to wear a brighter lip colour. We love Clarin's Le Rouge 2 for some instant glamour.
Cover any imperfections with Chanel's Estompe Eclat; an easy to use stick enhancer for a radical complexion.
Blushing bride?
No-one does it better than Benefit with Dandelion, £22; or try Guerlain's gorgeous Bubble Blush, £20 - a mousse - like blusher for a perfect, soft dewy flush.
If you can fit it in, how about having your foundation airbrushed on for a totally perfect finish which will last all day? Estee Lauder and Lancome both offer this new service which is available at counters nationwide. Or try Givenchy’s new Matmate Fluide, £21 - a fab matt foundation which prevents shine but gives great, even, coverage.
Lancome's Blush Papier Nacre, £11.50, are so easy to use and will keep a glamorous glow on your cheeks.
Bobbi Brown's mini make-up kit, £65, is cute and small enough for the tiniest of bags.
Make sure lips are totally kissable by exfoliating gently with an old toothbrush smeared with a little Vaseline or lip salve. Keep lips nourished with Crème de la Mer's fab lip balm, £35, or for bee-stung lips, try supermodel's favourite, Carmex £3.99 Superdrug.
Need a bit of colour to carry off that dress? The best we've found is the St Tropez Airport Tan (go for the spray gun application) at Transcend (01434 609090) or if you prefer DIY, try Sexy Hair Concept’s ‘Tan In A Can’, £15,50 from Hands On, Hexham (01434 600901) and The Jesmond Beauty Clinic (0191 281 8775).
Don’t forget many of the big beauty brand names offer a special Bridal Service where they will make you over and give you a lesson on how to recreate the look on the day. Make sure you explain clearly what you want and don't be too radical, otherwise you won't feel comfortable. Most beauty salons also offer a wedding make-up service and many will send their beauty consultant to your home to do your make-up on the day.
Don't forget your nails need to be in great condition, so try and get a regular manicure starting at least 4 months before and make sure you have your nails done the day before. Try ME (0191 281 6633) for some fab gel-nails or The Beauty Lounge (0191 230 2269). If you are into DIY, O.P.I have a selection of great 'home' manicure products and nail colours. We love 'Sweetheart' - a perfectly pale pink available from Boots and selected salons.
