Four members of Kingsbridge RFC were presented with recognition awards from the Rugby Football Union (RFU) at a presentation evening at Ivybridge RFC last weekend.
The RFU Valuing the Volunteer programme was set up to recognise the hours of work put in by club members on a voluntary basis.
Last season, club secretary Martin Newman and fixture secretary Derrick Marshall were presented with certificates by the RFU at an event at Teignmouth RFC.
This season saw four more club workers honoured for their dedicated service to grass roots rugby.
They were presented with their awards by the chairman of the RFU Management Board, Martyn Thomas, and RFU chief executive Francis Baron.
Kingsbridge RFC will complete the current season with the annual Presidents Day, which takes place at High House on Saturday 5 May.
The annual dinner and awards evening will take place in the marquee at High House on Friday 11 May.
In other club news, Newman has announced that he will not be standing for re-election for secretary next season and will resign at the club's annual general meeting in July.
He has been club secretary for 19 years.
