It provides information on the town and surrounding villages, its people, its businesses, leisure and hobbies, sport and the local community, plus places to visit, places to stay and local events.

This is a 'pre-launch edition' of the site. Given the restrictions of traditional local media and local media ownership there is increasing demand for news and information that is more relevant, more recent and closer to the community.

Our aim is to provide high quality editorial across a wide range of topics of interest to readers, local businesses and advertisers.
